New Age Verification Providers
We’ve expanded our AgeKit+ verification stack with two new providers.
📧VerifyMy: Email Address Age Estimation
A frictionless, privacy-preserving age estimation method where users submit their email address and verify ownership via a time-limited OTP. The system analyses the user’s digital footprint tied to the email and returns an estimated age or age category.
This method is fast, inclusive, and certified to the highest Age Check Certification Scheme (ACCS) EAL 3 standard (the highest possible level for age estimation methods), demonstrating high accuracy. In the recent Australian Age Assurance Technology Trial, VerifyMy achieved Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL9) which indicates readiness for full commercial deployment.

👤ROC: Facial Age Estimation (FAE) Scan
ROC provides server-side FAE where a selfie is processed on a secure server that does not store biometric templates. All verification captures are deleted immediately after use. ROC’s age estimation algorithm is highly mature — in the latest NIST Face Analysis Evaluation, ROC’s age estimation was the top U.S. provider and #2 globally with a mean error of ~2.96 years, showing very strong accuracy across various age ranges and image conditions.
To align with your risk assessment and required assurance level, you can configure your preferred FAE provider(s) in Compliance Studio at the organisation level. If multiple providers are selected organisation-wide, you can then specify which provider to use at the product level, allowing flexible provider choice based on individual product risk profiles.
We’d love to hear from you!
