Safety Center

Following last week’s addition of the “Resources” tab in Family Connect, we’ve now launched the Safety Center — a centralised hub for safety-related tools, tips and resources. Curated by k-ID’s incredible Family, Trust & Safety team, the Safety Center is designed to provide families with all the resources they need to have a safe, confident and age-appropriate journey online.

Improved Messaging in Verification Step

We’ve updated the messaging in the verification step across all flows — including VPC, age appeal, age assurance, and parental attestation — to provide greater clarity and reassurance for parents. The updated copy emphasises that:

1. Only one verification method is required — parents do not need to complete every option.

2. Their information is processed for verification purposes only and is not stored.
