Bugs & Enhancements
New Notification for Developer Portal on Mobile
When users access the Developer Portal from a mobile device or browser, they will now see a notification which prompts them to open the Developer Portal on a desktop browser, where the full range of features and functionality is supported. This prompt helps ensure that everyone gets the best possible experience by using the Developer Portal in its optimal environment.
VPC Flow Error Messaging
The Family Connect verifiable parental consent (VPC) flow has been improved for greater clarity and reliability. Previously, some users encountered a vague error message — “Something went wrong. Please try again later, or contact support” — after failing a parental verification method on their first attempt, leaving the next steps unclear. With this update, we’ve improved the post-failure UI to offer clearer guidance. Now, if a parent doesn’t pass verification on the first try, they are presented with straightforward options: retry the same method or select an alternative verification method, ensuring a smoother experience.
We’d love to hear from you!
