GCE 2.31 Release Notes

We’re excited to announce the release of Widgets — modular, embeddable UI components designed to help you generate adaptive user experiences that seamlessly adjusts to your users’ needs.

Widgets give you greater control over the look and feel of your flows with minimal implementation effort. Highly customisable, they feature public game-API endpoints that generate URLs for embeddable UIs. This lets you easily tailor design, branding, positioning, and special UI elements to craft an adaptive and engaging user experience.

Why We Built Widgets for You

  • Embeddable & Hosted UI: Widgets come as URLs to fully hosted interfaces you embed, which means less development overhead and simplified maintenance compared to building full flows yourself.

  • Quick Customisation: They allow easy adjustments in design, branding, layout, and UI elements — without changing core compliance logic — enabling faster iteration and consistent updates.

  • Adaptive UX Generation: Widgets dynamically adjust based on user inputs and jurisdictional requirements, helping your UX respond to varied contexts smoothly.

  • Modularity & Reusability: You can use Widgets independently or combine several for a full compliance journey, enabling incremental adoption or targeted functionality.

Age Gate Widget

The initial checkpoint in the compliance flow, Age Gate Widget checks the user’s age and determines if they are old enough to access an app or require parental permission.

Direct Notices Widget

Displays required legal notices and information about a product for a specific jurisdiction — these are important disclosures that you’d need to make available to users before access is granted.

Permissions Widget

Enables Trusted Adults to review, manage and update permissions for their children’s access to apps and features.
